Quan. Is it rapper Rich Homie Quan who was arrested for marijuana. Or is he the Governor of Guam?
Quan. Is it an equivocal quantum of the universe, a wit of unearthing quests and an unreserved uniqueness? And Nguyen: in Vietnamese dialect, the tongue raises and pulls away from a diphthongizing palate; the mouth follows by widening and jousting for a prolonged “win” – but quicker before you quiver. Quan Nguyen.
A social worker then and now a reporter, Quan has covered local soft and hard, investigative news–still seeing through people’s heart of flesh and love, however the news appears to be stoned with pressure and pretension. Always striving for truth, revelation, and confession, Quan also puts his cards on the table (and maybe himself under), as he connects and interjects his life experiences and knowledge.
With gracious help and guidance from friends and mentors, “all hands on deck,” and we’re ready to take the audience on a journey. And Quan believes success will never loom unless the reporter “removes his hand (off the deck)” and willingly inserts his unique color into his works, gets out of his comfort zone and takes up challenges. That openness comes with an indomitable will to defy the odds throughout investigations and prod authorities into viable, well-assured solutions– as the broadcast ship of storytelling is finally moored.

Compassionate and determined, before the sun rises above the horizon, Quan is offshore once again – this time and as he knows better, he does better (Maya Angelou). And he will steer by the stars, not the light of every passing ship. Someday, he’ll make it to the Promised Land, from his engine fuelled by empathy and happiness of others. With a talk show of his own, he will one day put his footprints in the Hollywood Hall of Fame – right next to Sean Hannity’s mouth.
Quan is currently gathering and reporting news in North Central Florida.
